Captives.Insure is pleased to announce the addition of Evan MacLean to our team as a Senior Captive Underwriter.

Evan brings over 15 years of distinguished experience in the property and casualty insurance sector, with a proven track record managing multi-million dollar accounts and delivering results for major insurers. His background includes senior underwriting roles at major insurers such as AIG, Liberty Mutual Insurance Group and FM Global. Throughout his career, Evan has specialized in primary and excess liability placements, complex commercial property risks, and the successful retention and growth of large account portfolios.

Evan’s expertise spans a wide range of industries and risk profiles, including E&S casualty, manufacturing, construction, public entity, and national commercial accounts. He has consistently exceeded premium and new business goals, developed innovative insurance programs, and cultivated strong broker and client relationships in the retail and wholesale markets.

Evan holds a Master of Science in Finance from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Providence College. He also holds a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
